Musk was quick to apologize, saying “Sorry! I will do my best to stay alive.”
Musk’s tweet comes just a day after he posted a note on Twitter where former Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin accused him of being associated with the Nazis. Musk also said Rogozin sent a memo to Russian media accusing him of arming “fascists”.
This was linked to Musk’s decision to send Starlink hardware to maintain internet connectivity in various Ukrainian cities during the ongoing conflict with Russia.
“From the testimony of the captured Chief of Staff of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Kormyankov, it appears that the ground subscriber equipment of the satellite company Starlink Elon Musk was delivered to militants of Nazism Battalion Azov and Marines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Mariupol by military helicopters,” the note read.
“According to our information, the delivery and transfer to the Ukrainian Armed Forces of post office boxes for the reception and transmission of the Internet from Starlink was carried out by the Pentagon. Elon Musk is thus involved in supplying the fascist forces with Ukraine in military communications. . And for that you will have to answer in a grown-up way, Elon, no matter how you turn on the fool,” he added.
