MUDRA Yojana created 1.12 new jobs in 3 years; loans price Rs 14.9 lakh cr disbursed: FinMin
Over 28.68 crore of loans price Rs 14.96 lakh crore have been sanctioned by banks, non-bank monetary corporations and microfinance establishments because the launch of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY), mentioned the Ministry of Finance. He mentioned this system helped generate 1.12 crore jobs from 2015 to 2018.
Of this quantity, 4.20 crore of PMMY loans have been sanctioned in 2020-2021 alone, of which 2.66 crore of Rs lakh was disbursed in the course of the yr (as on 19.03.2021).

The Ministry of Labor survey signifies that the PMMY helped create 1.12 crore jobs in three years from 2015 to 2018, of which girls signify 69 lakh (62%).
Prime Minister Modi launched the PMMY on April 8, 2015. Initially, the target was to disburse loans as much as Rs 10 lakh to small / micro non-corporate and non-agricultural enterprises.
