GARDENA, Calif .– (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Dr. Minh Nguyen, esteemed physician and medical company leader in occupational medicine, has joined Agile Occupational Medicine as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Nguyen will focus on building successful practice teams and developing solutions for employers and payers that translate into significant savings and superior patient outcomes.

Agile Occupational Medicine is a new company, built from the ground up to deliver positive patient outcomes. The executive team behind its founding, led by renowned industry leader Greg Moore, has dedicated their careers to improving workers’ compensation with a focus on patient outcomes. . Starting from a clean slate has allowed them to develop systems, staff and procedures that focus on aggressive case management to lead to quick resolutions. “We plan to leverage our first clinic as a platform for innovation in patient care, customer support and onboarding the claims team. Dr. Nguyen most recently served as vice president of medical operations at Concentra, where he oversaw the largest occupational medicine group in California and Hawaii with more than 100 clinics and 300 clinicians. Previously, he was vice president of the medical / western division at US HealthWorks, overseeing medical services, physicians, and staff at 56 Southern California clinics.

Dr Nguyen, DO, MPH, MHA, MGH, MBA, FACOEM received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in occupational medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine after completing his internship in general surgery at the Navy Medical Center in San Diego. He also holds several Masters from the School of Health Management at AT Still University in Healthcare Administration, Geriatric Health and Public Health, as well as an Executive MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the ‘USC. He is board certified by the Board of Occupational Medicine and licensed to practice medicine in Arizona and California, and is an Expert Medical Examiner for the California Osteopathic Medical Board, Medical Review Officer, and Civilian Surgeon. He is a former naval officer having served in the Pacific Fleet, the San Diego Naval Medical Center, and a Marine Air Wing in Miramar, California.
